From the first estimate to the final walkthrough

Here’s what to expect when you work with Plintz Painting.

1. Tell us about your project

Request a free estimate or call or text 313-356-6351. We’ll contact you to arrange a time to review the work.

2. Walk through the scope together

We inspect the surfaces, discuss your goals, and identify the preparation, repairs, and painting to include. You receive a clear written estimate.

3. Approve the work and choose a date

After you approve the estimate and submit the agreed deposit, we confirm an available start date with you.

4. Choose your colors and prepare the space

We can help with color matching, paint chips, and sheen selection. Before interior work, remove small or fragile items, decorations, and wall hangings. We coordinate moving larger furniture.

5. Protect, prepare, and paint

We protect surrounding areas and complete the preparation in your scope before applying the coatings. The owners are directly involved, and we never subcontract our work.

6. Stay informed

We communicate throughout the project and discuss any changes that affect the work or schedule. Exterior work depends on suitable weather and surface conditions.

7. Clean up and walk through the result

We clean the work area and review the finished project with you, addressing final touch-ups and questions.
