Plintz Painting 3-Year Limited Warranty

Plintz Painting warrants labor and materials for a period of three (3) years from the date of project completion against defects resulting from improper workmanship or application.

This warranty covers peeling, blistering, or flaking paint resulting directly from our workmanship or material application.

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear, fading, chalking, or sheen reduction

• Damage caused by accident, abuse, neglect, impact, or lack of maintenance

• Damage caused by weather, moisture intrusion, water damage, ice, hail, wind, snow, temperature fluctuations, excessive humidity, or acts of nature

• Cracking, caulking failure, or movement caused by settling, expansion, contraction, or structural movement

• Failure of existing coatings, previously painted surfaces, or improperly prepared substrates not reasonably visible during estimating or preparation

• Rotten wood, rust, water-damaged materials, deteriorated drywall/plaster, or other compromised surfaces

• Horizontal walking surfaces including decks, porch floors, stair treads, or floors

• Work where Plintz Painting did not supply the materials

• Stained finishes, natural wood movement, or variations in wood grain appearance

This warranty is transferable to a subsequent property owner during the warranty period. 

Warranty claims are limited to affected areas only and do not include reimbursement for incidental or consequential damages.
